The Best 4 Streaming Discounts for College Students
As the days of back-to-school march ever nearer, many families are sending their freshmen off to the universities and trying to find the best deals for this expensive time of life. As part of my research for the most amazing deals to be had, I asked my favorite co-workers at Security Self Storage units in Napa for help. After all, we’re all about finding the best deals, right?
One thing that I wanted was to give him ways to stream movies, television shows, and sports since he is easily stressed and needs to take a break by watching a good movie, show, or sporting event. I knew that there would be options but wanted to get the best deal possible. I found several good deals for streaming and am passing them on to you.
CBS All Access for students
I hope that my son is not going to be upset, but I am outing him as a Trekkie. CBS All Access will be the only viewing option for the latest chapter, “Picard.” This service is available for college students when they use their university credentials to set up the account. At that point, they will be given their discounted rate. It is unusual that CBS All Access doesn’t show their monthly price before so doing, so we contacted several people in our network and found that the average price for CBS All Access is $4.49 monthly.
Prime for Students
Amazon gives all college students discounted Prime for half-price – $6.49/month or $59/year. This membership includes all the bells and whistles of a regular Prime Membership – prime video, free shipping, prime music, and unlimited photo storage.
NFL Season Ticket for students
This is probably the deal that my son was the most excited for, since he loves sports and missing games would be horrible. With a valid university credential (and some people say that they have received an additional discount with the code BACKTOSCHOOL), students can receive NFL Sunday Ticket for 4 payments of $19.99 or one payment of $79.99, which is $20 less than the normal price.
Spotify Premium Student/Hulu/Showtime
This is a great bundled deal that is worth checking out. Students can bundle these three services for only $4.99/month. This is a huge deal, with Spotify normally costing $9.99/month, Hulu at $5.99/month, and a monthly Showtime subscription being $10.99/month.
